Abstract
The field experiments were conducted at the experimental farm,Minia university,ARE, during 1995/96 and 1996/97 growing seasons to study the effect of sowing dates (15 th Nov,30 th Nov and 15 th Dec),seeding rates (35, 50, and 65 kg seeds / fed) and nitrogen fertilization levels (15 ,30 and 45 kg nitrogen / fed) on yield and yield components of barley cultivar (Giza 12).
A split-spilt plot design with three replicates was performed.
