Abstract
The present study was carried out at Sids Agricultural Research Station, ABC, during the three successive seasons 1998/1999,1999/2000 and 2000/2001. The objective of this study is, to estimate mean performance, heterosis, general and specific combining ability, and correlation coefficient between 13 studied traits of a half diallel cross of six selected parental lines or cultivars.
The parental lines or cultivars were Sids1, Sids4, Sakha61, Yacora rojo, PVN’s’/Sprw ’s’ and Kauz ’s’. Parental lines , F1’s and F2’s were grown in randomized complete block design with four replications.
