Abstract

The blood groups are inherited characters. Such knowledge greatly increased their biological interest, gave rise to antigen-anti-body system and laid the foundation of the vast knowledge of the Rh groups and their fundamental role in causing diseases, i.e. their role in scientific medicine. Yhe importance of blood groups in genetic and breeding could be shown by differentiation between monozygotic and dizygotic twins, in bovine. the present work was condutedto identify the boold group system in theb egyptian fat-tailed sheep and to find the relationships between different blood group genotypes and some wool characteristics.
