Abstract Eleven cases for whom partial nephrectomy was done were studied. Full clinical, laboratory and radiological investigations were done pre-and post- operatively. Although having many indications, partial nephrectomy was done here for stone disease, bilateral Wilm’s tuaour and solitary cyst of the lower pole. The incidence of postoperative ptosis of the kidney and urinary fistula were relatively high . This may be explained by absence of nephropexy and the use of wedge type of resection respectively. |
