Abstract Two field experiments were carried out in newly reclaimed lands in west of El-Minia Governorate, during 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 seasons.This work aimed to study the effect of sowing dates, potassium fertilizer levels and boron fertilizer levels as well as their interactions on growth,yield and its components and quality of sugar beet in new reclaimed lands in west of El-Minia Governorate. The experiments were carried out in split-split plot design.The main plots were assigned to sowing dates (15th Sept, 1st Oct., 15th Oct.and 1st Nov.), the sub-plots were allocated with three potassium levels (24,48 and 72Kg K2O/fed.)and the sub-sub plots were occupied with three boron levels (0,1 and 2 Kg B/fed.). |
