Abstract
this study aims to find out the possibility of using localate materials as natural soil conditions i improving physical chemical and biological properties of the newly reclaimed caicareous soils collected from three governorates at north upper Egypt .
The experimentes were carried out using 18 soil sample collected from Minia . Bani Suif and Fayoum governorates .Representative samples of each soil type were subjected to physical . chemical and biological analyses . Six samples (Two from each governorate ) were selected according calcium carbonate content and textures .Four treatments of local waste materials namely : akalona , composed akalona . Farm Yard manure (f.Y.M ) and green manure ( Egyptian clover )were used as soil amendments at a rate 0.2 % ( 2 Ton/fed).
