Abstract
The aim of the work is to evaluate the results of open reduction and Internal fixation of displaced olecranon fractures using plate and screws.Twenty patients with displaced olecranon fractures treated by different types of plates. The follow up period ranged from three months to six months with a mean of 4.5±21 months. They were treated from Decemb~rs 2006 up to August 2007.On admission all patients were assessed by history taking, clinical examination and radiological assessment.
