Abstract
Automatic fire sprinkler and hydrant systems are recognized as essential fire fighting systems in high rise buildings. The objective is to reduce fatalities and property conservation from the ravages of fire. To accomplish this by installing residential fire sprinkler system in certain types according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) after identification hazard type and fire class. This project research is to design and analyze a sprinkler pipe network for a high rise building model and performing all the hydraulics calculation for water flow, pressure loss, and pipe sizing for fire sprinklers with using Elit&s FIRE application. This study reveals technical details for sprinkler system, the mandatory sprinkler requirements for a high rise building, and numerous code benefits to fire sprinkler for a high rise building.
