Abstract
Suported molybdena catalysts, that can be prepared in different forms oxydie Or sulohide, Promoted or unpromoted, have been reported l to baVe a very versatile
activity towards a number of industrial reactions - for instance, they catalyze hydrodesulfurization, hydrodenitrio-genation (i.e hydrogenated cleavage of C-s s.nd C-N ponds) and hydrodemetalation (i. e hydrogenated decompositlon of
Metal-organic compounds of Ni, V, Fe’, •••••• etc )2. Alsoso
’they are Ssuccessfully used as powerful catalysts for methanation and water-gas reactions. in addition, they are of considerable current interest beoause ot the possibility that ,they may be used for the bydrogentation of coal to synthetic crude oil.
Compound Ia reacted with 2-cyanocinnamonitrile (IIa) to yied IVa. Structure IIIa could be also obtained from the reaction of 2-cyanomethy1-5-benzylidene-2-thiazolin-4-one(Va) with IIa.Similarly compounds IVb-f were obtained from the reaction of Ia, bwith cinnamonitrile derivatives IIb,c respectively.
