A space vector modulation (svm) based fuzzy logic controller technique for athree phase shunt active power filter is proposed. the propsed svm based fuzzy logic controller is implemented in aclosed loop control system .the reference input to the control system is the reference compensating harmonic current. the refernce compensating harmonic current is obtaiend from the harmonic extraction tool or called as the harmonics analyzer. the harmonics extration is based on the fourier transformation. the error current is the difference between the reference and the actual compensating harmonic current form the power compensation. the swiching control algorithms of the proposed svm based fyzzy logic controller manages to generate appropriate switching gates to the active power filter.
