Abstract
The present experiments were carried out at farm in El-mataana, station quna A.R.C. Egypt to evaluate six sugar cane varieties i.e G.T. 54∕9, G.85∕37, 84∕47 , f153, G75∕368 and G87/55as affected by three nitrogen fertilization levels i.e . 180,,210 and 240 Kgs N/fed . and two seeding rates i.e. 81 and 102buds/row . during the two successive seasons 1995/1996 and 1996/1997 (on two plant crops and first ratoon crop for first plant crops).
A split –split plot design with three replication was used .Nitrogen fertilizer level were randomly arranged in the main plots , varieties were distributed in the sub – plot and seeding rates were assigned to the sub –sub plot.
