Abstract This investigation was carried out at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Minia University, A.R. Egypt, during the two seasons of 1986-1987 and 1987-1988 seasons including two plant crops and its two first ratoon crops in 1987-1988 and 1988-1989 seasons to study the effect of some agronomic cultural treatments on growth, yield, yield components and chemical contents of sugar cane. The experimental design was a split-split plot design with four replications. Varieties (G.T. 9/54 and C.68/88)were randomly allocated in main plots, whereas sub plots were occupied by plant populations i.e. (14 cuttings, 21 cuttings and 28 cuttings per row). |
