Abstract
In Egypt, there are urgent needs for the horizontal expansion to meet the demands of increased population. Also because of limited sources of water and agricultural productivity several ambitious land development projects is toshka project. Therefore the main target of the current study is to evaluate the morphological, physical, chemical and mineralogical properties of toshka region in order to achieve the better agro-management techniques for such soils and to create the development and large communities in that area.
However the soils of Egypt in general are greatly differed in their origins and the prevailing environmental condition yet the found to be varied in their morphological physical , chemical and mineralogical properties consequently the current investigation concerned with identifying the different soil properties of toshka region as related to their origins and the affected prevailing environmental condition. In addition to study the beneficial influence of the finest Nile mud on soil properties of such coarse textured soils.
