Abstract
The basement rocks of Ghaibarea cover about 332km2 .It lies between latitudes 28º 35º and 28º 40’N and longitudes 34º 20E and the Gulf of Aqaba in the Sinai.The area have been studied in detail and mapped on ascale of 1:40,000 using the aerial photographs by the author.The studied area is covered by older granite,phase II younger granites and alkali granites.
