Abstract Amidopyrine, aritipyrine and dipirone are the pyrazolone derivatives of pharmaceutical interest. Those f pyrazoli— dine derivatives are phenylbutazone, oxyphenbutazone arid sulphinpyrazon-e. A general introduction and a short survey for the methods of assay was given iiip artI. The majority of the nethods sotfar reported in the literature are titrimetric, colorimetric or spectrophotometric. The experimental in the present thesis is presented in i’t II;the unit—dose assay of the previous mentioned conTpounds in their pharmaceutical formulation;and part IIIacay of certain two—component mixturee. 2art fl includes the items mentioned in the fo)lowin paragra— phes. The chargetransfer complex formed by the interaction between electron acceptor (dichlorobenzoauinone, DCBQ)and elec— trori donor (amiodpyrirre or antipyrine) was used for the assay of these drugs in tablets. The conditions suitable for the formation of complex wsre worked out. The determination of + no1ecular ratio of reactants and association constit were also described. Application of molar—ratio method indicates that 1:3. and 1:2 donor-acceptor complexes are formed in ;1] |
