Abstract 1-during the preparation course of the supported catalysts it has been found that the method used in the preparation of XMnII and XMnVII results in loading minute amount of ,manganese species (x), cf. 2-supported MnII interacts strongly with the carrier leading to calcined catalysts void of mn-0 bulk phases .DRs and TPR Results suggest that Mn- 0 species formed are similar in nature , irrespective of the calcinations temperature applied. 3- For unsupported MnC Catalysts , 8 –Mn 203 is converted to Mn2.3 at > 300 c , which remains unchanged in the supported catalysts despite of calcinations at up to 600 c. Results of the studies included in the present thesis have been represented in a sort of panoramic paper , which has been orally delivered at the 5th international symposium on scientific bases for the preparation of heterogeneous catalysts . |
