Abstract This thesis includes three chapters. The first chapter represents the definition the definition of pollution, pollution with metals, toxicity of copper, common techniques used for the separation of heavy metal pollutants, chemicophysical fundamental of cementation and biological activity of furanone and pyrone derivatives. The literature survey on the previous work is also included in this chapter. The second chapter is devoted for the apparatus used and the procedure of measuring the rate of cementation, density, viscosity and diffusion coefficient of CuSO4 solution in absence and presence of given heterocyclic structures at different temperatures. The third chapter is devoted for the results. The results of the rate of cementation of Cu2+ in CuSO4 solution and in presence of different concentrations of furanone and pyrone derivatives at different rpm and different temperature are given. |
