Abstract The air movement in vetilated areas is acomplicated phenomenon it is infulanced by many factors such as air flowpattern, geometrical configuration of the room venialtion rate supply and exhaust air opening locations it is also infulanced by thermal buoyancy due to heat generated by sun occupants equipment and other sources Recentally, several researches have investigated the effects of main geometric and operating paramenters on air flow pattern inside conditioned spaces. Among these parmenters are geometry of the space inlet opening location and Reynolds and archimeds numbers The aim of the present study is directed to wardsmeasuring air veolicities through out a model of an air ventilated room to study is directed to wards measuring air ventilated room to study the effects of some parameters on air flow pattern inside the test room these parmeters are the location of the air outlet opening the presence of a ceiling obstacle or an internal partition, and Reynolds and Archimedes numbers]\ A test rig was designed and constructed in orderto supply air to a small sdcale model room. The room has a single circular supply opening located close scale model room. The room has a singlecircular supply opening located close to ceiling the fpuroutlet opening are locted at different vertical distances from ceiling.air outlet openings no I.IIand IIIare located in the verticalcenter of the rear wall |
