Abstract
One of the most important problems of topology is the problem of classifying manifolds. To probe that two manifolds are homeomorphic: just write down an explicit homeomorphism between them. What is much harder is to prove that two manifods are not homeomorphic. To distinguish nonhomeomorphic manifolds, we need toplogical invariants. For some manifolds , the topological properties we know suffice
