Abstract The aim of this study is the post operative assessment of the results, benefits and outcome of the use of percutanous nephrostomy drainage of cases with advanced hydronephrosis: infected and non infected and severely ill uremic conditions with correlation with the size of drainage tube and duration of the drainage. Conclusion: As a conclusion, the percutanous nephrostomy is considered a rapid, safe, effective, non terrifying procedure for temporary drainage of obstructed hydronephrotic kidneys especially in toxic, ill and unfit patients with few and easily remediable complications encountered. |
