Abstract

because contemporary power systems are so large it is not feasible or possible to model the complete system in detail for this purpose coherency - based dynamic equivalent technique for large -scale power systems are urgent subiects of research transient stability studies also the simple generator models are good gor analysispurposes but not accurate enough for predicting its oerformance for control and on -line purposes on the other hand higher order models improve the validity of results unfortunately complicated models are too cumbersome for on-line applications.
