Abstract

Camel milk is considered one of the main components of the human diet in many parts of the world. It contains all essential nutrients as cow milk ,also it has a high biological value due to the higher contents of antimicrobial factors such as lysozyme, lactoferrin and immunoglobulins . Most camel milk is consumed in the fresh or sour state.
Milk is the main source of nutrition for the neonate calves, and provides all the essential nutrients for growth and development, e.g. proteins, minerals, carbohydrates, fatty acids, growth factors, immune modulators, etc. if Compared to the bovine species.
The camel milk and urine has medicinal properties and the camel milk has large amount of immune factor and the camel urine used by many people to treat Ascitis &Hepatitis.
This study was performed on 70 camel milk samples and six urine samples from different areas around Alexandria are collected and were used to examine the following:
1) Gel electrophoresis to camel milk.
2) Determination of vitamin c concentration. In camel milk and
other animals
3) Lysozyme concentration. In milk &urine and mixture of them

The obtained results revealed the following:
1) Gel electrophoresis to camel milk showed that:
- Camel milk contain large amount of immune factors such as IGg, lactofferin, lysozyme especially herpes feeding camel
-camel milk contains many protein fractions which may be enzyme or hormone or minor peptide.
2) The camel milk contains high level of vitamin C than other animals
3) The camel milk contain lysozyme larger than other animals .
4) The camel urine have no lysozyme but when added to camel milk show lysis zone due to presence of some thing in urine or milk increase the lysozyme concentration.
