Abstract
Aim of the work
To Probe the possible changes in the levels of serum procollagen II peptide and serum laminin PI in acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart in children.
Conclusion
The clinical value of serum PIIIP determination in cases of acute rheumatic fever may be limited, while serum laminin PI is good prognostic tool in acute rheumatic fever in children especially cases with rheumatic carditis.
