Abstract
This study was conducted on 50 patients ”100 eyes” from patients attending el-mania univ. hospital 20 patients were normal and the other showed NPR the normal 20 patients showed normal OP’s . after a period of follow up of 2 years the 30 patients with decreased Ops was divided into 10 patients remains with the same picture of NPR while the other 20 patients showed PDR .
So, we conclude that the ERG can be a very helpful tool in predicting the progression of diabetic retinopathy in conjunction with fluoresce in angiogram.
