Abstract
Aim of the work
1- Delineate the indication of post mastectomy radiotherapy in different stages of breast cancer, its effect upon local control, disease free survival and overall survival tracts.
2- Evaluation of radiotherapy techniques, complications and side effects and the different schedules of timing of radiotherapy in relation to chemotherapy and their results.
Conclusion
Although claims have been made that post operative irradiation is harmful, several studies demonstrates that its advantages effects on both local regional control and survival over grow its deleterious side effects and further studies are required.
