Atrioventricular septal defects is considered one of common congenital heart diseases in egypt and it forms 5% of patients had down syndrome with increased incidence in children of old age mothers. These children suffer from decrease number of specialized centers for intervention in early age which results in death of these patients due to pulmonary hypertension, heart failure .
