Abstract The aim of this work is to determine the prevalence of Psoriasis in patients attending the Minia university hospital, as a sample. Conclusion: Psoriasis is not a common disease in Minia comprising only o.3% of the dermatologic patients. Females have an earlier age at onset of psoriasis with two peaks of age at onset Most of the patients support the effect of cold on their Psoriasis condition that it becomes worse and the family history is not always detected. Recommendation: We recommend to re-do the analysis on a larger group of patients using a group study to bring more accurate data about the prevalence rates of psoriasis in our country. |
