Abstract Until now there is no determination of the distance at which the bullet is retained in soft tissue and bone in the weapons commonly used in Egypt and the literature is very poor in this point. In this study assessment of the penetration power and determination of the distance at which the bullets is retained in soft tissues and bone for different weapons commonly used in Egypt, and compare different firearm weapons according to the distance at which there is retention of missiles in the animal tested for . The methodology of current study is unique due to scanty research studies having the same goal as that of the current work . . . The current study include 26 donkeys which were divided into 20 donkeys for shooting from rifled and home manufactured weapons firing • single bullet and 6 donkeys for shooting from weapons firing, multiple shots .The donkeys were obtained from Senoris center . Single weapon from different types of weapons commonly used in Egypt was used for shooting in the present study .
