Abstract
The aim of this work was to study the endometrial histological changes in IUD users, in addition a correlated clinicopathological study was done. The major changes in our study represents only (24%), these include : cystic hyperplasia (8%), atrophic endometritis (1.3%) and chronic endometritis (15%). As regards malignamcy our study proved that IDUs produces neither dysplasia nor malignancy of the endometrium i. e. it has no carcinogenic effect.
