Abstract
1-It is necessary to assess the immune status of cancer patients especially neutropenic cases which last for long periods aiming at improving their immunological condition. 2- Avoidance as much as we can of the use drugs or therapeutics which may lead to immunosuppresion to minimize the chances of opportunistic fungus infections. 3- Care in administration of antibiotics (after doing culture and sensitivity) should be put in consideration for selective eradication of the pathologenic bacteria. 4-Selective administration of antifungal drugs to achieve proper eradication of the pathologenic fungi and avoidance of emergence of resistant to the used antifungal therapy.
