Abstract

Aim of the work
To detect and find the relationship between the endothelial dysfunction and prothrombotic state in patients with ESRD.
Conclusion
1- Patients with CRF without replacement therapy or on haemodialysis, have an endothelial dysfunction determined by increased level vWF:Ag with no correlation CCr.
2- Patients with CRF also, have a high rate of thrombin generation than in control group determined by increase the levels of F1+2 and shortening of APTT.
3- The high level of F1+2 doesn’t correlate CCr, PC or APTT.
4- BT is higher in patients on haemodialysis which may be due to to platelet dysfunction or platelet-vWF interaction defect.
