Abstract

this study was performed on 50 adult male rats with average weight of 100-150 grams. group 1 received 009% saline, Group II received co 20 mg/100g . Group III received niacin with taurine each in a dose of 50 mg/100g and recived cp in a dose of 20 mg/aoo g. Group IV reecived cp followed by niacin with taurine 50mg/100g Group V received niacin with taurine 50mg/100g . secimens of the lung were processes for : H&E, Masson,s trichrome. orcein , Pas, Gordon & Sweets & Feulgen reaction. Succinic dehydrogenase, Alkaline & Acid phosphates enzyme. for the ultrastructural studies. specimens from the lungs of all groups were fixed in 4% glutaraldchyde and examined by EM.
