Abstract
This part of the thesis aimed to studying the property of f.d.ts dosage form to deliver the active ingredients to its site of action. This property of a dosage form has been referred to its bioavailability. Since, it is generally assumed that the therapeutic effect of the drug is a function of its concentration in the patient blood or plasma. The importance of the bioavailability in drug therapy stems from the fact that the rate and extent of absorption of the administrated drug.The analgesic effect of either dicophenac potassium or indomethacin f.d.ts has been done by using pododolorimeter method, which indicates that, the fast disintegrating tablets gave the fastest analgesic effect according to the obtained results.
