Abstract Quantitative analysis, using Doppler tissue during dobutamine stress adds new dimension in diagnosis of myocardial ischemia. It is more accurate than standard wall motion analysis using two –dimensional echocardiography for recognition of significant CAD in diabetic patients Doppler tissue imaging is promising technique to reduce interobserver variability for interpretation of DSE. It is relatively sensitive and specific method that allowed detection and quantification of ischemia induced regional diastolic and systolic dysfunction. |
