Abstract
The present study was aimed to prerare an inactived BVD vaccine comprising genotype I&II in laboratory and evaluate it under field conditions.
This study includes:
1-Preparation of inactived BVDV containing genotype I&II vaccine using BEI for inactivation and alumminum hydroxide gel 20%b as adjuvant.
2-Evaluation of inactived BVDV containing genotype I&II in laboratory for purity, safety, potency and challenge exposure tests in susceptible calves.
3-Evaluation of inactived BVDV vaccine in pregenant cow dams under field conditions:
a)study the duration of immunity in vaccinated dams.
b)study yhe immune response in their off springs post delivery till the seven months of ago.
4-Comprative study between prepared inactived BVDV vaccine containing genotype I&II and pnemo-3 vaccine containing BVDV, IBRV, and PI-3V.
