Abstract The present work include the study of 51 cases of children suffering from lymphadenopathy. The cases were divided into 5 groups. First group = chronic non specific lymphadenitis (12 cases). second group = Tubarculous lymphadenitis (19 cases). Third group = Bilharzial lymphadenitis (one case). Fourth group = Hodgkin;’s disease (13 cases). Fifth group = Non - Hogkin’s lymphoma (6 cases) Generally males suffer from lymphadenopathy more than females with male/ female ratio: 1.4 : 1. Expection was observed in chronic non specific lymphadenitis. Concerning the age incidence of various types of lymphadenopathy we found that in tuberculosis 47.4% occured between 11-15 years. |
