Abstract
Diarrheal disease is a major public health problem in developing countries and associated with high morbidity and mortality rates especially in young children. However in developed countries the mortality is low and morbidity is variable. In Egypt diarrhea remains the commonest disorder affecting Egyptian infants below two years of age and it is the commonest of death in this age.
