Abstract SUMMARY: The origin, course and distrbution of the veins of the head and neck of camel, specially the sinus durae rnatris are examined and described in detail. Ten head and necks of adult camels of the species Ownelus dromed.arjus were used for dissection after the veins have been injected by 60% coloured gum milk. The nomenclature of the veins used is that adopted by the Nomina Anatomioa Veterjnaria (1973). The results obtained were illustrated by five diagramatic figures.
