Abstract
SUMMARY: The study of the micro—raorpholoica1 features of
the uterus of goat ( intercaruncular area during luteal
phae of the estrus cycle end preancy ) revealed
A — During the lutes]. phase of the estrus cycle.
1 — The lamina epithelialis was of the pseudo—
stratified columnar variety.
2 — The fjbrjllar elenents of the endometria].
stroma were mainly of the reticular variety.
B — During pregnancy
1 — The endonetrium became nore folded and
decreased in thickness aø preancy adveaced.
2 — The lamina opitheliajis was denuded at the
first month of preancy aM. restored itself
in horns containing foeti. of 8.5 on. GEL or
more ( second nontb ),
3 — The lamina epithelialis showed two types of
cells dark and light ceils. The former type
pr6dominated as gestation proceeded.
4 — The surface epithelium showed apoorine acti
vity, specially at second and third month. A
