Abstract Poisoning is a major problem all over the world although its type and the associated morbidity and mortality vary from country to country. The aim of this study was to evaluate electrocardiographic (ECG) changes of patients with acute poisoning, and assess if these findings can predict the severity and prognosis of poisoned patients or not in the Emergency Department, Suez Canal University Hospital. This study was conducted on 52 patients, both sex and all age groups except under age of 14 years, with acute poisoning admitted to Emergency Department at Suez Canal University Hospital. |
