Abstract
A total of 550 liver from slaughtered camels were examined in Cairo (400 camels) and Beni-Addi (150 camels) abattoirs. Histopathological examination of liver specimens were performed and selected samples were used for
ultrastructural studies. Bacteriological examination of liver specimens were also performed. Qualitative x-ray analysis of trace elements in the liver tissue were performed in specimens obtained from cases which suspected to be related to trace elements and also from some normal cases for comparison.
