Study and recommendation summary
Caraway and Cumin crops are regarding as the most important aromatic grains Crops . they are locally consumed , and they are also exported to Arabic and European countries although these Crops become better when planted in the new and reclamation of lands , they suffer noticeable DROP in the their median productivity . moreover , they are decreased to the extant that they cant be exported .
We also can notice a going down in the planted area size , and this prove that research results couldn’t reach performance room . hence , we should clarify that knowledge diffusing in the Egyptian rustic society leads to agriculture development .and that’s because agriculture development hub , depends on former . hence , we should care for studying factor which surround former , and affect on agriculture knowledge diffusion which relates to technical recommendations and its stability .and we should do so , not to regard these factors as stubble upon knowledge diffusing relating to planting and producing aromatic grains , specially our study crops , ” Caraway ” and ” cumin ” , in the new areas and reclamation of lands .
And that due to the diminution of knowledge related to our study crops ” caraway ” and ” cumin ”, this knowledge is important for getting a high production which enables us not only for consuming , but also for exporting .
It may be also because the system of agricultural guidance does not go well , or the cause of lacking guidance studies which care for guidance role in the new areas .
SUMMARY A
So this research aims at ,
1-To know some personal, social, communicated characteristics of regional farmers of the research.
2-To know checked farmers knowledge which is relating to specific artistry recommendation of planting and producing aromatic grains, ” caraway ” and ” cumin ” in the new areas and reclamation of lands .
3-It enables us to know, the checked farmers performance which relates to specific technical recommendation of planting and producing aromatic grains , ” Caraway ” and ” cumin ” in the new areas and reclamation of lands .
4-Through this research we can know the role of agricultural guidance in knowledge diffusion among checked farmers which relates to technical recommendations of planting and producing aromatic grains , ” Caraway ” and ” cumin ” in the new areas and reclamation of lands .
5-To know the checked farmers opinions upon the important problems which face them during planting and producing aromatic grains such as , ” Caraway ” and ” cumin ” in the new areas and reclamation of lands .
This study has been carried out at three villages in the district of ” Elminya ” which subordinate to the region of ” western Elmynia ”. and it involves the research and a number of fifty checked farmer of ” Caraway ” crop in the eighty seventh village . and a number of fifty farmers of ” cumin ” under consideration , in the seventh village . relating to the third group of crops , ”

coriander” , it was set a side . and that s because , its planting areas aren’t enough .
Informations for this study were collected during the last three months of 2004, through personal meeting by two questionnaire form which were prepared from the very beginning . and after important modification , we used the forms in its final shape for collecting information , about farmers who plant ” Caraway ” and ” cumin ”. after that , information were took down into specific archives . all of that was after representing the answers and numeral values which suit the using measurements in analyzing study informations .
The study was divided into five sections, the first section concerned with ” the research preface ” which contains ” the study aims ” , ” The problems of the study ”, and ” its determinates ” . The second section involved the ” theoretic domain ”, and ” the referential display of the previous studies ”. while the third section relates to ” how to search ? ” or the way of searching ” . The fourth section involved ” the search results , and its discussion ” . finally , the fifth section , contains ” the summary of the study and the recommendations ” .
-According to farmers who plant , ” Caraway ” , the study got the following results :-
1- Personal , social , communicative characteristics of checked farmers who plant ” Caraway ” .
- According to the age of persons who plant ” Caraway ”, the majority of them are in the middle age ( 42 — 59 years) at the ratio of 45 % . According to working on agriculture only, were

at the ratio of 70 % . According to their education ,nearly 36% persons at the ratio of 72% . relating to the planting area of ”caraway” crop, the majority of the study staff, were in the spot of small area (from 12 to 28) carats , at the ratio of 82 % . According to the average of acre production of ”caraway”, the majority of them were in the spot of median production at the ratio of 70 % . According to the checked person frequency on agriculture service centers, the majority of them were in the company of low frequency at the ratio of 60 % . According to those who meet someway of communication with crowds, the majority of them were on the company of low frequency , at the ratio of 64 % . According to participation in guidance work , the most of them were in the spot of low participation at the rates of 86 %. relating social official participation , the majority of them were in the low official , social participation at the ratio of 86 %. According to updating , the majority of the comprehensive study staff were in the majority of negative way upon updating at the ratio of 56 % . According to agricultural guidance , the majority of them were in the company of negative way at the ratio of 36 %. According to facing some technical guidance recommendations sources, the majority of theme were in the low exposure , at the ratio of 80 % . relating to problems awareness, specifically relating to planting and producing ”caraway” crop , and their suggestions to salve it , the majority of them were in the spot of low awareness, at the ratio of 46 % . According to the desire in continuity, in planting and producing ”caraway” crop , were in the spot of high devise at the ratio of 66%. According to the ability to expect the increase of planting
and producing ”caraway” crop , the most of them were in the

company of ”low ability ” at the ratio of 66 % . relating to the nature of checked persons opinions, they were in the company of negative opinion at the ratio of 70 %. According to the opinion leader ship , the most of them were in the company of low opinion leader ship at the ratio of 84 % .
2-The study knowledge degree staff in the majority of technical recommendations which relate, to the planting and producing ”caraway” crop, were some how low .
3-The practicing degree of the study staff in the majority of technical recommendation which relates to the planting and producing ”caraway” crop, were some how low.
4-Sorces of all study stuff relates to technical recommendations which relate to the planting and producing ”caraway” crop, were either to agricultural , guidance source or another guidance sources ,the following is relating to agricultural guidance the rate of technical recommendations which farmers knew through it was 48.91 % . according to the anther guidance sources, the rate of artistry recommendations was 35.93 % . hence , we notice noticeable decrease in the role played by agricultural guidance in the diffusion of technical recommendations relates to the planting and producing ”caraway” crop .

According to the opinion leader ship , the most of them were in the company of low opinion leader ship at the ratio of 36 % .
2-the study knowledge degree staff in the majority of technical recommendations which relate , to the planting and producing ” cumin ” crop, were some how low .

4- knowledge scores of all study stuff relates to technical recommendations which relate to the planting and producing ” cumin ” crop, were either to agricultural , guidance source or another guidance sources ,the following is relating to agricultural guidance the rate of technical recommendations which farmers knew through it was 18.47 % . according to the anther guidance sources, the rate of artistry recommendations was 69.09% . hence , we notice amortizable decrease in the role played by agricultural guidance in the diffusion of technical recommendations relates to the planting and producing ”cumin ” crop .

3-It’s necessary for governable guidance to after noticeable guidance services in this field .
4-Granting different technical substitutions for technical agricultural recommendations observing , the difference of soil , the weather ,the kind of plant .
5-lt,s important to attract the local leaders who could affect on the rural society with the advantages of update technical recommendations.
6-It’s necessary to increase the guidance system extension in the new areas and reclamation curvy, with each numbers of agricultural guidance, and supplying their with guidance aids, and preparing them to are the modern technological agricultural ways in there areas, and that accelerate the speed of technical recommendations diffusion and thus, the development come.
