Abstract
The present thesis intended to investigate the rhetorical-linguistic techniques utilized by politicians to demonize the other. The process of Othering is linguistically scrutinized to show how the critical stdy of language can help better our undr-erstanding of political rhetoric. This study is divided into the following chapters : inroduction. It briefly explains theaim, significance and the scope of the study, A Review of the Related Literaturra. It presents a review of the literature of Discourse Analysis, Methodology, Data Analysis, Conclusion Remarks.
