Abstract

In recent years interest arose in the study of dust fall and air pollution owing to the role of industrialization and increase of means of transport, and the environments. These means give their biproducts which pollute the atmosphere giving rise to various chemical reactions and resulting to health hazards.Air pollution means the presence in the out door atmosphere of one or more contruninants such as dust, fumes, gas, mist, odor, smoke-or-vapor, in quantities, of characteristics and of duration such as to be injurious to human, plant and animal life or to property, or which unreasonably interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life and property.
Atmospheric pollutants may be classified broadly into two types: gases and particulate matter (liquid DROPlets, solid particles). When these particulate matter suspended in air, is known as aerosols. It is finally divided particles for which the rate of fall is small compared to the Brownian movement or turbulent diffusion.
