Abstract

The Spark Counter is an instrument designed mainly for the detection of heavily ionized particles namely (alpha particles, protons and fission fragments,etc). Its main mechanism lies in the initiation of sparks in a densely ionized medium by the passage of such particles. The mechanism lies in two categories.
