Abstract

from the preceeded study it was observed that metabolic profile tests were greatly disturbed among different levels of milk yield, seasonal variations, as well as location differences:
1— Low lactating dairy friesian cows had highly significant increase (P<O.O1) in PCV%, Fib, level, serum iron, serum glucose, S—AST, S—ALT and serum calcium level, with highly significant decrease (P<O.O1) in serum total lipids, cholesterol, total proteins, globulins, magnesium and serum copper level than those highly lactating ones. Meanwhile ,there were Insignificant variations in serum albumin level, A G ratio, and serum phosphorous level between two models of milk production.
2— In the summer, season, dairy friesian cows showed highly significant decrease (P<O.O) in PCV%, Hb. concentra— tion, serum iron, urea, and glucose concentrations, with highly significant increase (P<O.O1) in serum total lipids, cholesteroj levels, 5—AST, S—ALT activities, serum calcium, phosphorous and copper levels and significant increase (P(O.05) in serum total proteins, and globulins levels than in winter season. Non variations were evident in serum albumin level, A:G ratio, and magnesium concentrations between summer and winter.
