Abstract Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer amongst women worldwide, cervical cancer is much more common in developing countries in which it accounts for 15% of all female cancers, Endometrial cancer appears more important as a cause of morbidity than as cause of mortality while Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer death among women. The early detection of these malignancies could save many women’s lives. it is also the first step in preventing many cases of cervical and female lower genital tract cancers from ever developing. Actually, Family physicians have an important role in prevention and early detection of breast and female genital tract malignancies, by initiating of screening programs aimed at early detection, and providing health education regarding cancer prevention and detection. |
