Abstract
Marine polymers include a large variety of polysccharides from animal or plant (algal)origin chitin and chitosan are biopolymers present in crustaceans such as crabs and shrimp-shell. They are amain waste product generated by the fishery and seafood pocewssing industries (Knorr, 1986).
