المستخلص The present study aimed to identify the effectiveness of rational emotive counseling in alleviating future anxiety of technical education students. The study psychometric sample comprised (268) commercial secondary education students. The clinical sample comprised (12) students as an experimental group and (12) students as a control one. The study utilized three tools that have been prepared by the researcher, these tools are: 1- Ascale of future anxiety. 2- Ascale of irrational believes. 3- Rational emotive counseling program. The program was administered on an experimental group. The results of the study showed appositive correlation between irrational believes and future anxiety. Results also showed that the rational emotive counseling program proved an effect on reducing the future anxiety on the students. Results indicated that there is not any statistically significant difference within the experimental group between the follow-up measure and the post test in future anxiety. |
