The present study aimed at designing a list of criteria that well designed and well produced instructional softwares in kindergarten stage should have, identifying to what extent the intended software of the present study has the characteristics stated in the list of criteria, and introducing a suggested conception through which software efficiency, and improvement of its outcomes can be achieved in the light of the prepared list and the results of the present study.
The sample of the study consisted of 36 kindergarten teachers, 13 university staff members. The tool of the study was a questionnaire addressed to both kindergarten teachers and university staff members.
The study was limited to the intended computer software (the House of
Joy) KG1, and KG2, version 2000 produced by the Center of Technology
Development.
The main results of the study were that; there was an agreement among the whole sample that the technical aspect was the first, the production aspect was the second, and the educational aspect was the third and last since the staff members responded (available to some extent), while the teachers and the sample as a whole responded (is not available)
The present study introduced a suggested conception that might help in achieving efficiency and improving the outcomes of the intended software.
